Happy Fall Everyone!
Today I am sharing my trip to Dearborn, Michigan with my husband Tom. We saw a commercial on our local news about the glass Pumpkin Fest. We had not ever heard about this company so we made plans to head on over to their showroom to start our collection. Wow is all I can say. The video and pictures don’t even do these beauties justice! They are just gorgeous. I hope you enjoy the video of our trip and what designs we chose for our home decor this year.

Hi Everyone!
Today it is windy and rainy so I felt in the mood to dig under my basement stairway where I store all my holiday goodies. I NEVER am in the mood to go under those stairs too often. It’s all nice and organized under there but still….not an easy place to bend down in and haul items out of. I began dragging out all the fall/harvest themed home decor items and made a few trips upstairs with them.
After adding a lot of AA batteries to votive’s and pumpkin goodies, I decided to pop into the craft room for some homemade filler. I took two sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ 65 lb. Kraft card stock and cut 1/8″ wide strips all across the narrow sides.
Then I got out my ancient Fiskar’s Paper Crimper. I forgot how much I love this thing LOL! I ran a few strips through until I got just a small amount of crimped strips and then I crunched them up in my hand a bit.
I have a bit more filler to make but the decorating has begun. 🎃 ‘s everywhere!
