New USTREAM Workshops to Debut Soon

 Free Photo Tutorial  2011-2013 In Color Flower Frenzy

I am planning on having USTREAM workshops approximately once a week for 1hr. to 1-1/2 hrs. in length.  I have given you a link above for a sample of my new tutorials.  I will be having a fun Halloween tutorial and kit available for sale very soon on my Etsy shop.  I hope you will join me.  Meet some new online friends and share in the live chat.  We will have a GREAT time!

I suggest everyone interested in my workshops register prior to live show broadcasts if you do not already have a USTREAM account.  It’s FREE too for all of you who are new to USTREAM.  Registering early will help you sign in quicker and participate in the chat.  For those of you who do not wish to chat you can just watch the workshop.  No problem 🙂  I also plan on recording the workshops for those of you who are unable to participate during the scheduled live broadcast.

Distressed Scrapbook Album

Love Love Love the DCWV Tattered Time stack and couldn’t resist using it on this album.

I really enjoy working with ink, paper and chipboard.  For this album I assembled the front and back covers as well as the spine with chipboard and then covered it with kraft card stock.  I distressed everything throughout the album using my Distress Ink.  I added metal embellishments from Stampin’ Up! and Tim Holtz  throughout and I think it came out quite nicely.  The album closes with a hand-made closure.  Below are more detailed pictures of each individual page and their workings.  I hope you enjoy the tour :-}

This closure is made with duct tape and a metal embellishment I found a JoAnn fabrics.

    These are the flaps on the inside left cover.  They flip-up exposing a front a back side for photo’s and journaling.

I also have individual slide outs for more scrapbooking possibilities.

These are the same flaps as described above located on the right inside back cover.

The following photos are of the inside pages secured within the Tim Holtz binder rings.  The pages measure 5-1/2″ x 6-1/2″.   They all have some form of interactive piece or a pocket or niche to add photo’s and journaling.

This is a mini album that fits right into the pocket of the page. Cute band closure too.  Makes a nice inside surprise for the viewer!

Here are a few more inside pages.

I added some rustic twill ribbon on the edge of this photo pocket.  I added a complimentary paper for my pop up page on the right side.

This paper makes a great center page display.  I really like the glossy images mixed in with the distress.

Last two pages…

The album has a total of  nine two-sided pages in the binder rings.  The rings open and the pages can be rearranged if desired.

I hope you enjoyed the tour.

A big thank you to Paper Phenomenon for the tutorial.  If anyone wants to make this album please support Kathy and purchase her Colorful Life Grad Album tutorial here.
