New Flowers for Springtime

What a fun day I have had today.  I played with  my new stamps from Heartfelt Creations and they are beautifully detailed.  I have so many ideas in my head for changing these flowers to many colors, layers and styles.

I started with this gorgeous pink.  

I used Perfect Pearls Mists on this sample along with multi color bugle beads for the center embellishment.

A little Stickles and some chunky iridescent glitter sets off the center on this multi-layer flower.

I just love the dimension you can achieve by adding different size layers.  This stamp set is titled Aztec Gold Sunflowers 2 from Heartfelt Creations.  It pairs perfectly with all the gorgeous Stampin’ Up! inks and card stock.

These flowers are 3/4″ tall and work perfectly on altered items, scrapbook pages or tags!  I hope you will make some too.

NSD 2011 Challenge #2 Double Up

Hi everyone!

Here is another layout that I completed for the Life on the {Scrap} Beach challenges for National Scrapbook Day.  This challenge was to use two 4″x6″ photos.  No Photoshop assistance.

My daughter and I made some fun paper flowers to coordinate with our fun layout about shopping at the garden center.

Of  course I had to make it girlie with some additional bling here and there.
