My New Custom Die Just Arrived!

Hello and Happy August to you all!

I thought I would share my new AccuCut die design today.  I have been pondering for over a year whether to take the plunge and create my own die shape.  Well after much “Should I’s and Why Not’s” I took a deep breath and contacted their design department.  I made the commitment to move forward and design my own die.  Whew…LOL sometimes I just need to stop questioning things and jump in the water with both feet!  I am so glad I did….wait until you see it!

To make your own die you first need to send them your drawing so they can quote you a price.  Once you approve the price you sign a few more simple agreements and they create your die.  This is the proof of the scale design I received Skeleton Head 49392 .    I added a few basic shapes so I can design some fun eye expressions!  That’s what the circles and heart shape are for in case you were wondering 😉

Here is my first custom die and I just love it!  I will be creating a chipboard album kit using this skeleton head.  Check back for more updates regarding my paper choice and kit details.  Kits will be listed in my Etsy Shop September 2013.  I am looking forward to making this cute album for the upcoming Halloween season.
