Drink & Be Grateful

Hello!

I’m so excited to begin creating with my first stamp sets from RG Studio 360!  I absolutely love these adorable photopolymer stamps.  I will be sharing a ton more cards and other scrapbooking and mixed media projects along with planner pages very soon.  Until then, check out this first card.  I used the Drink & Be Grateful stamp set for the main focus.  If you would like to re-create this card I have a free PDF for you.

RG Studio 360 stamps Drink & Be Grateful, Lumber Plaid and Seasonal Mugs

Being able to try out some of the new 100lb. cardstock was amazing.  I love this Gray Stuff and Tangy Orange together….so fall and just screams a Thanksgiving feel.

Lumber Plaid #3631

I really love the Lumber Plaid stamp.  I can see this used in many different ways.  I will definitely be doing some tone on tone playing with this image.  Wouldn’t Sweet Cane ink stamped on Sweet Cane cardstock be so rustic?  Any of the color collections would be amazing.  If you would like to see stamp samples of all the colors please leave me a comment in this post and I will be happy to make them so you can see. 🎨

Coffin Treat Boxes

I just love this adorable Skeletons Dance stamp set from Fun Stampers Journey.  I decided to make some coffin treat boxes with this set.

All supplies use in today’s project are linked at the end of this post.  The compensated affiliate links within the supplies may be used at no extra cost to you but will support me in continuing to add content to this blog.

This treat box is made from an Access file from Cricut.  It is a really simple coffin shape.  They cut out perfectly with the Cricut Maker, which I used for these, and the assembly was quick and easy.   You can get this file by purchasing on of the Cricut Access Memberships here.

Coffin Treat Box

I used the Journey Craft Glue so that the completed project would be sturdy and hold up to holding a range of treats.  I added a little embossed message inside the box as a surprise for the recipient.  I used Whip Cream Embossing Powder for this sentiment.

The main cardstock that I used was Black Licorice, Citrus Cooler and Electric Lime.  The image was stamped onto Whip Cream cardstock using Black Licorice True Fusion Ink.  I mounted the die cut image onto a Journey Ovals Die Cut to make it dimensional.

I wanted the front sentiment to stand out so I embossed it using Black LIcorice Embossing Powder.  I love the shine!  I also thought the little bone image fit perfectly along the top edge of the box top for that added fun touch.
